Q: Why
don't the wings of my Jet Hawk stay back?
Why doesn't my Jet Hawk fly very far? |

attaching
the canopy to the mounting posts.
|

 |
| If you are having difficulty
activating the Strato-Launcher, follow the instructions
below to help determine the correct launch position. PLEASE
NOTE: Use these tips to practice using the Strato Launcher
before attempting actual flight and develop a sense of
how to easily achieve accurate firing position. |
| 1 |
Remove the Jet Hawk 1 from the Strato-Launcher.
Do not attempt to launch the Jet Hawk 1 at this
point.
|
| 2 |
Hold Strato-Launcher with both hands, placing
thumbs over Launch Button; hold with launch
tube pointed straight up/vertical.
|
| 3 |
Listen for a ball to stop rolling (if you do not
hear any rattling within launcher, gently shake
it until you do).
|
| 4 |
Count to
2 and slowly rotate Strato Launcher forward until
the handle of the Strato-Launcher
is straight up/vertical.
|
| 5 |
Gently depress Launch Button to determine if you
have the Srato-Launcher at the correct launch angle.
If the Launch Button does not depress, the angle
is not correct. Check to make sure the handle of
the launcher is straight up/vertical and reattempt
to depress the Launch Button.
|
|
 |
| IMPORTANT: Do not
move Srato-Launcher once the correct launch position is achieved
and the safety mechanism has been released; any change in
direction/angle will re-engage safety mechanism and the Srato-Launcher
will not activate! If correct launch position is achieved,
then the safety mechanism will be released and the Launch
Button should depress completely. Hold Launch Button down
until all air is released from the Strato-Launcher. |
 |
| If no air (or only a little)
is released, make sure pressure is accumulating
by pumping until resistance builds and the pump is difficult
to completely retract (between 10 and 20 pumps). If this
does not happen, try the following: |
| 1 |
Depress Launch Button at the correct launch position
without pumping) at least 5 times.
|
| 2 |
Reset stopper in tip of Launch Tube by GENTLY
depressing with DULL narrow object (a small screw
driver or paper clip), until all air is released.
